• How to recharge my prepaid card?

• What should I do if my mKaart does not work?

  If you encounter a problem, please contact Chargy technical support on the free phone number 8006-2020, which is available 24/7.

• I have lost my mKaart. What should I do?

  Contact your charging service provider as soon as possible, so they can block your card and issue you with a new one.

• I live abroad. I am travelling to Luxembourg. Is my card compatible?

  Roaming contracts have been set up to allow non-residents to recharge their vehicles on the Chargy network. Ask your charging service provider whether they offer this service.
  Please note that you will not be able to load public transport tickets for the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg onto your foreign card; this service is reserved for mKaart users.

• I am going abroad. Can I recharge my car using the same card?

  Yes, there are roaming contracts in place allowing you to recharge your vehicle abroad. Ask your charging service provider whether they have signed a contract of this nature and ask which stations you can access.

• I already have a card from a charging service provider. Do I have to change it?

  If you already have a card, check with your charging service provider if it is compatible with the Chargy system.

• What should I do if my mKaart is not compatible with Chargy?

  If your mKaart is not compatible with Chargy, your charging service provider will issue you with a new mKaart. If your old card still has transport tickets on it, please take your old and new mKaarts to a Mobilitéitszentral counter to transfer your tickets from the old card to the new one.

• I already have an mKaart. Is it compatible with Chargy?

  When you sign up for a contract with your charging service provider, show them your mKaart. They can check whether it is compatible or not. If the serial number of your mKaart begins with 9.000-30.xxx.xxx-x, your card is compatible with Chargy. If not, your mKaart needs to be replaced with a new one.

My MyChargy Account

• How can I access the MyChargy platform?

  When you sign the contract with your charging service provider, you will be sent an e-mail with a link and a password that gives you access to the platform.

Stations integration

• Can I integrate my charging station without it being visible to the public?

  Unfortunately, it is not possible to guarantee you with 100% that the charging station will not be visible. Depending on the interface solution selected by the charging service provider, the charging station may or may not remain visible. Some interfaces do not offer the option of “hiding” the charging station.

• Is there an integration fee?

  The integration of a Chargy Ok station is free of charge.

• Who will carry out the integration of my station?

  The charging station will be configured by your installer/electrician or by the charging station seller. A document with the procedure will be provided to him.

• As a site operator, how do I integrate existing stations into the Chargy system?

  If you want to integrate your stations into the Chargy system, all you need to do is sign an integration contract and update your stations using the information included in the Chargy OK integration kit.

Stations usage

• The charging station is on paid parking. Do I have to pay for the time charging?

  Yes. Since these are two different services, one proposed by the Municipality (car park) and the other proposed by your service provider (car charging), you must pay both services.

• What should I do if the Chargy station does not work?

  If you encounter a problem, please contact Chargy technical support on the free phone number 8006-2020, which is available 24/7.

• How do I find a charging station (or the nearest one)?

  When you use your login and password to connect to the MyChargy platform, an interactive map is displayed indicating all the available stations on the network. You can also find detailed information on the status of each station (in use, free, reserved, out of service).
